Meditation
Group sessions can be held at your public and private settings including yoga studios, fitness centers, businesses, retirement communities, community centers, churches and special event gatherings. Coaching throughout the meditation session, and particularly the mindful awareness element, is meant to provide insight that can be transferred into the daily routine thereby enabling the establishment of calm space in life. Sessions can be modified to accommodate a particular time allocation and can be purchased individually or as a bundle. Private Meditation - A session tailored to your situation, addressing questions and challenges that you may have in developing a consistent practice or being able to sit in practice. Basic-Works* - 45-60 minute guided session has the full works. It is ideal for the beginner or novice meditator since it exposes one to a variety of techniques and enjoys movement as a manner in which to initially focus and settle the mind. It begins with breathing exercise then to moving mindfulness from a seated position. There is a soft progression into guided imagery followed by the meditation element. The meditation will vary using different senses as focal points such as the eyes, nose (breath), ears (Tibetan Bowls) and the mouth. This session begins and ends with a short question and answer session to facilitate the learning process. Focused-Works - 45-60 minute session for the novice or experienced meditator who prefers focused sitting time with like minded individuals. It begins with breathing techniques (pranayama such as deep breathing, continuous breath, alternate nostril breathing) followed by meditation. The meditation element may use different senses for focal point and may incorporate other techniques as felt appropriate. The session will end with a question and answer session along with the opportunity to share Walking-Works - 45 minute session is for those who have a difficult time sitting still for an extend period of time yet are interested in developing a meditation practice. Walking Works begins with breathing techniques, sitting mindful awareness before moving into walking mindful awareness that occurs within the room, or outside in a quite environment, weather permitting. Short-Works - 30 minute session for those with a busy schedule yet value the importance of a regular practice or prefer to nurture themselves with a little time out. Pranayama will begin the session followed by meditation of Mello's choice. |
